I think everyone in the Mid-Atlantic is required to do one today, so here 'tis. We've got somewhere in the neighborhood of two and a half feet of snow here, in a region that doesn't deal well with more than, say, four inches...
That's the chicken coop. There are no actual fowl visible, because they're all in the doorway of the chickenhouse, making disparaging comments about the weather. My chickens are not fans of snow.

Wow! You actually have more snow than we have in my region of Maine at the moment. Looks like good cross-country skiing or snow shoeing weather! Cute cats! I so empathize with the chickens, though! Enough of the snow already! :0)
Oh yes, we dug out the snowshoes today... i know i'll need them to mail out an order on Monday. Didn't try to send it today, as i doubt USPS would attempt to make it to our place in this.
My little apartment-bound felines would cryyyyy. They've never seen anything like the stuff falling out of the sky through their window, and they're super excited! lol
The kittens, 6 months old and raised by a momcat who's quite feral, get very cranky when i won't let them come and go at will, but there's been too much coyote activity lately to let them out at night. I do toss 'em out for a while during the day, though - 6-month-old snowbound kittens = lots of property damage!
We have cats and chickens too! And goats. Can't wait for spring.
I've threatened to get a couple goats - for one thing, it would help clear the poison ivy - but i think i need to get the fencing up and the equines moved in here first!
